Download ModelAnchor

Free to download. Pick the zip for your system, unzip it and run — the builds are self-contained, so .NET does not need to be installed.

Windows 10 and 11. Run ModelAnchor.exe.

Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Run ModelAnchor.

X11 or Wayland (through XWayland). Run ModelAnchor.

All downloads are on the latest GitHub release, together with its release notes. Earlier versions are in the release history.

First run

The builds are not code-signed

Your system warns the first time you run ModelAnchor. Here is how to let it start.

In the SmartScreen dialog, choose More info → Run anyway.

Remove the quarantine flag:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine <unzipped folder>

or allow the app in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Minimal installs may need fontconfig and the X11 libraries:

sudo apt install libfontconfig1 libx11-6 libice6 libsm6
